Sometimes I see God
as cold,
blessings
as condescending,
and love
as the bone we’re thrown.
Sometimes I see Him
lounging
in a golden throne,
a swarm of angels
fighting to kiss
His feet.
Sometimes I see Him
laughing at me,
struggling below.
Sometimes I see Him
and sometimes I don’t.
